Patio season is coming to an end, and in 2020 that is devastating. It’s not over yet, though, so if you want to get out and enjoy a locally-brewed libation in a gorgeous, open outdoor setting while maintaining social distancing, then you need to make plans right now.
Luckily Saskatoon has some fantastic patios that make it worth a trip to our fair prairie town! Here are some of our favourites.
The Yard and Flagon: This traditional Irish pub has a stunning rooftop patio that has long been a local favourite! Enjoy a Guinness or one of a number of local offerings and some truly satisfying pub food while relaxing under the prairie sky!
Winston’s Pub: This patio is a bit hidden, but trust us – brave the quaint English-style pub and make your way to the back doors and you will find a garden oasis that will let you enjoy a pint of bitter and some bangers and mash in peace!
Vista Lounge: A West-Coast style bar with delicious, fresh appies and striking cocktails, the Vista Lounge has both a front patio and a rooftop lounge that give you plenty of ways to lounge en plein air!
Crazy Cactus: A Mexican themed restaurant and bar, the Crazy Cactus has a wild style. It’s also the home of the Gringo – a locally popular drink that features Churchill Blonde craft beer, tequila, triple sec and lime for a powerful spin on a classic margarita! The food is good, and the drinks might be better – get out and enjoy this Saskatoon staple patio!
With plenty of public spaces outdoors, Saskatoon has plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy our prairie city. Now is your moment – book a stay at the Home Inn Saskatoon South for a relaxing getaway! Our comfortable and clean rooms will help you make the most of patio season while it lasts.
